A small team that takes every cut personally.

Meet The Team

Owner - Isaac Alamo

Isaac has been a barber for 36 years and counting, starting out by cutting his own hair and turning it into a lifelong passion.

He also works with the Department of Developmental Services, giving him years of experience working with individuals of all different needs and supports. That same patience, understanding, and care carries into every haircut he does.

Isaac first opened Fusion of Style in Fairfield, building something of his own and defying the odds through hard work and dedication. He later moved both his business and his family to Milford, where they’ve planted roots and found home.

When the opportunity came to take over River Three Barbershop, a staple in Milford since 1913 and previously owned by its first female owner, Tina Beck Schumacher, it felt meant to be.

Today, Isaac offers men’s, women’s, and children’s haircuts along with color and grooming services, creating a space where everyone feels comfortable, welcomed, and taken care of.

For Isaac, it’s never just been about the haircut — it’s about the people.

Gabriel (Kool) Estrada

Better known as Kool, Gabriel started cutting his own hair at just 12 years old, eventually turning it into something bigger by cutting for friends and building his skills early on. What started out of necessity quickly became a passion.

Influenced by 80’s hip-hop, b-boy culture, and a strong background in art and drawing, developed a unique eye for style from a young age. After spending time in Manhattan and the Bronx, he brought that influence with him to Puerto Rico, where his style stood out and gained recognition.

Kool’s journey has always been rooted in creativity, self-expression, and learning hands-on, and that shows in every cut he does today.

Richard Gomez

Dominique started braiding at a young age, using her own hair as her first canvas. What began as something fun quickly turned into a passion, and before long she became the go-to for family and friends.

Even through college, she continued to grow her skills and creativity. After returning to Connecticut, she decided to take braiding more seriously and fully step into her craft professionally.

Now at RTBS, Dominique continues to learn, grow, and perfect her work, bringing care and intention into every style she creates. For her, it’s more than just hair. It’s confidence, culture, and connection.
